The gorgeous Heaton House Farm is located in the Cheshire, surrounded the beautiful countryside. For brides wanting a more rustic wedding in the countryside it is a dream venue.
Heaton House Farm specialise in bespoke weddings and ceremonies. You can marry your best friend by saying “I do” inside the rustic barn or choose instead to have a gorgeous intimate outdoor ceremony. Sarah and the staff at Heaton House Farm could not be more helpful in helping you plan your gorgeous countryside wedding.
Bridal Preparation Room at Heaton House Farm
As I arrived on what was a beautiful summer’s morning, Emma, her daughter Poppy and her bridesmaids were all getting ready in Heaton House’s glamorous bridal preparation room. It is so spacious, providing a very relaxing and comfortable environment to begin your special day. It was so nice documenting the morning of Emma’s wedding in this luxurious space. There is a full wall of mirrors which are great to use for creative photographs. The two large windows at the opposite side of the room fill the room with light which is great for wedding photography too.
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Emma and Alex had planned their dream wedding ceremony to be outside, although they did have a wet weather plan just in case the the sun didn’t shine through for them. In fact they made a final decision just hours before the ceremony itself to chance the British weather and have their outdoor ceremony under the Oak Pagoda. I bet they are absolutely delighted they did as the sun was shining throughout their beautiful wedding ceremony. It was such a gorgeous intimate ceremony in perfect weather. All the chairs and surrounding areas were beautifully decorated by Alex’s family who run a family florist. It looked absolutely stunning and had such a personal feel which was so nice.
As a nervous Alex waited patiently at the top of the aisle it was so nice to watch Emma walk into sight as all their wedding guests turned round to see her make an emotional walk towards Alex. Poppy, their daughter, was also waiting with Emma’s Chief Bridesmaid and sister. The chemistry between the bride and groom was incredible, the moment they held hands you could instantly see them both relax into each other. The outdoor ceremony was so lovely, there is something about being in the open air in the countryside that’s so refreshing.
Beautiful Summer Wedding
It was an absolute pleasure to photograph this gorgeous summer wedding. After Emma and Alex exchanged their vows under the rustic Oak Pagoda it was time to enjoy the wedding reception and celebrate with their family and friends.
Heaton House Farm is such a picturesque venue, it’s every wedding photographers dream! There is so many options for great wedding photographs. The secret walled gardens are tucked away, allowing you to have some creative wedding portraits in privacy. I love to whisk my couples away for a short time before you have your wedding breakfast for some photographs. It means you get to have some beautiful memories to keep from your wedding day but also gives you time to take in all the excitement of your day so far. The water gardens not only have an incredible view of the Cheshire countryside but also a little lake too.
The black and white image at the top of the page is one of my all time favourite wedding photographs. As we left the walled gardens the wind picked up slightly taking with it Emma’s extremely long veil. Alex managed to grab it just in time and kept a firm grip. I’m extremely proud to have won a Masters of Wedding Photography award for this photograph. These little documented moments of time are so important as together they tell the complete story.
